Now is time for the city to dress in Christmas lights, to support the shopping frenzy and burn some electricity because it helps the industry. Yay!!! And the photo of today!

Christmas became more a business than a tradition or something spiritual ... is all about starting as early as possible, still not in December, convince the stupid people to buy stuff as much and as useless as possible and everything at higher prices because .... wtf, is Christmas! But getting over this feeling I enjoyed a cup of hot wine (this one can be all the winter I have no problems with it)  and my eyes were attracted by these nice expensive sweets. I can say that it worth looking at .....

Today I was at a kids playground while I was visiting my best friend, a few hundred kilometers away. What can you do when you have small kids ... go with them at a playground. I had taken a lot of pictures ... click here, click there ... but I decided to put the only one that has no kid in foreground.

Trying to stay fit with a night skate session. Looks like my mind is stuck I can't find more creativity. My daily activities are keeping me away from my camera and at the end of the day I am too tired to get something out but I still have to make the daily photo ... as sucky as it can get but still must be done.

Another long day and foggy as bonus and actually was the only thing I could try to capture, fog and empty streets. All this photography thing can become a real pain in the ass when you have other things to do, that can't wait for your photo to be ready but the photo must wait until your work is finished.

365 Challenge - day 60

Old couples are always interesting for me and somehow find them "sweet". Maybe is because we live in a society where dysfunctional families are a norm, a standard, where single mothers are a usual sight, and not necessary because "the pig" went with another, many are choosing this and just choose a partner for "good genes" and good bye. Actually you see a lot of singles and when you see a couple if they are happy and in big love means that they are in the first months and when they don't give a damn about the other then they are in a long term relation. When I see old couples that are still functional I am fascinated how after some years spent together, maybe a lifetime they still care about each other. This couple was this kind of couple, went holding each other and then just enjoyed the sun on a cold day while chatting and looking at a busy road.

365 Challenge - day 59

Tearing down the student campus continues, today with the last building. I like to laugh that the campus was leveled because of the second picture ... what can I say was a few month daily show ... now is at the final act, the last building.

There is a nice shop that has these small round windows where are always exposed some bottles of wine and the owner is changing the look and merchandise weekly. Since is already night and this looks like the best subject I can get ... why not?

Since winter is coming I have no choice but to find things that I can shoot in the dark or at home and this gives me a kind of negative influence and lack of inspiration, at least for now.

Leaving Bucharest and while flying I was thinking that below those clouds life is happening everywhere, someone is going to take his kid from school, some doctor just saved someone and so on ... all while you are seated somewhere up in the sky and drink your coffee looking outside

Two people holding hands sometime can be the best thing you can see and maybe is saying more than words could, for that short moment they are not alone, they don't walk alone.

A nice orange-red color produced by this Ikea lamp, was not looking like a brothel light but still offering a nice mood. Works perfect with a good movie and someone you love but still some chips or popcorn are a must. And don't forget to take 2 bottles of wine and drink one glass from each one ....

Back to Bucharest after another 9 hours with the night train.and I found these interesting. Again one of those days you can't talk about so you go for some wall decoration.

One of the moments you can't miss in a life, my grandma is 79 years old today and in this image is the place where I was smoking cigarettes without being noticed, not very smart since inside was full with chopped wood and in the garage area was diesel petrol for the heating. I watched the stars many summers from the roof, had fights with my cousin, my hiding place and headquarters of my army ... a place full of memories.

365 Challenge - day 46

In Bucharest main train station preparing to move in northern part of the country, taking my last puffs of cigarette and preparing for a 9 hours non-smoking trip with the night train. I can't understand why I have to respect non-smokers but they don't have to respect me ... I don't puff my cigarette into your nose but please let me have a place to smoke.

365 Challenge - day 45

When is a power failure you feel like you are thrown back into the medieval times. If you are lucky enough you may find a candle, if not you can go to sleep, is nothing else better to do. Lucky me, I got a candle so I could finish my meal and decided that why not add it at my 365 project since is all about what happened during the day or what I can tell about this day :P

I love power failures :D

Wandering through the city like a tourist with a camera hanging at my neck, after a very long walk I said that this building deserves a place in my gallery, actually I looked at it for more than 15 minutes, and is not so huge, you can see whatever you need to see in less then a minute. I think the people on the street were looking at me and wondering from which third world country I came, but who cares ...

Oh dear Bucharest, once my home town today feeling like a tourist. After a long night out and some booze, suddenly the sun was rising and I said I am sober enough to take a photo before going home.

First night in Bucharest, after my luggage got lost, was interesting while I had no clothes or shampoo or some other important stuff. Today I received my lost luggage, went home, went out forgetting my camera and stumbled over one of my favorite toys ... the red car. Since now I don't have any toys I took at least a picture of my red Porsche. 

365 Challenge - day 40

Today's image is just like my feeling. Arriving at Bucharest International Airport every one was in a hurry to get out quick to see their loved ones or get quicker to the hotel to take a shower and a nap, whatever. It looked like I was the only one without plans, not in a hurry, nobody waiting for me at the gate and no urge to rush somewhere. The feeling was like I am standing and everything around me is moving fast forward.
